How Did You Get Started with this Business?

Ever since I was young I've loved performing. I've studied voice and acting since I was 10 years old. It's just something that gets in your blood. If I can brighten the lives of children because of my gift, that makes me feel good. It's the best thing about working with children. I really can make their dreams come true!

How are You Different from Other Performers?

Anyone can put on a costume and show up at a party. I've studied each and every one of these characters inside and out. I can interact with the children confidently and answer any of their questions easily. The children can easily believe in my characters. My costumes are also custom made by professional seamstresses to fit my body perfectly. I will NEVER wear a costume purchased from a costume shop. I'm all about authenticity.

Once Upon A Party Client Information

The following is very important information. Please read carefully and discuss any questions with Once Upon A Party owner, Sarah Paul.

This information will also be provided during your required consultation.

Booking A Date

First, call and check that the date is available. I suggest calling at least a month in advance. Booking less than two weeks in advance requires an extra $20 fee.

There is a $25 Non-Refundable Deposit to book your event. Your deposit guarantees placement on our calendar. The deposit will be applied to your final invoice. Simply asking does not hold your date.

Events booked on a major holiday will be charged an additional fee.

Credit cards are accepted, but checks or money orders are preferred. Please ask during your interview.

What If I Have To Cancel A Party?

Your Deposit is Non-Refundable, but we will gladly work with you to choose an alternative date in the event you need to reschedule. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, Once Upon A Party reserves the right to reschedule your event.

What Ages Can I Have At A Party?

Our parties are specifically catered to children 3-10 years old. Older or younger children can be discussed. Age may place certain variations on your party. Please inquire at your consultation.

Where Are The Parties Held?

Parties can be held in your home or any other venue you choose. Our characters are very flexible!

- Confirmation on date of the event

- Information on any allergies or health conditions we should be aware of about any of the attendees

- Age range of the children and age the Birthday Girl will be

- Will there be any boys attending? Be aware of this when choosing activities.

- Any other information you think is important for your child to have the best birthday ever!

- Remember to fill out the client information sheet

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

Once Upon a Party assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages. Our performers will provide you with the most professional service and will work to ensure that your home is treated with respect. In the event of damage or loss of Once Upon a Party inventory and/or damage or loss to the party’s location, the financial responsibility lies entirely on the client.

Once Upon a Party is not responsible for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction stemming from the menu, wearing of costumes, or any activity taking place before, during and/or after the party. In the case of liability and/or financial remuneration due to the aforementioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the client.
